Hi there parents!
Den/Pack Meeting - 10/3
We look forward to seeing you at this week's meeting, 6:30pm at the Middle School.
The Parent Involvement page has been updated. It's very important that everyone understand the expectations of we parents, so please make sure that you take a couple of minutes to read the page, particularly the bit about meetings and outings.
Planning Meeting - 10/2
We have a planning meeting coming up tomorrow, 5pm at The Egg & I restaurant. If there are any parents who have yet to attend one of these meetings, I encourage you to do so. Help us plan upcoming events, or just be a fly on the wall and listen to what goes on!
Youth Protection Training - 10/20
YPT training is not mandatory for parents, however if you have completed the training, you can be responsible for a group of scouts during a portion of an event. This can be really helpful in cases like we had on the weekend, where scout leaders need to take a group of scouts aside for specific achievement training. YPT training can be completed quickly and easily online, however on Oct 20 at the Round Table meeting, we have an opportunity to undertake in-person YPT training. Please contact me if you would like to join this training session.
There's less than two weeks left for our popcorn fundraiser. There are lots of prizes available for different sales levels, from $250 to $2,500, but $600-worth is a really achievable level with great automatic prizes. Should be able to hit that mark easily with just a couple of weeknights and a couple of weekend days. Thanks guys (from your Treasurer!!)
