Hi guys and girls,

If you're reading this halfway down North St. Pats, what are you doing? Put your phone away and continue enjoying this record-breaking Champagne dump!

OK, you're home now after a great day's skiing, so I wanted to give you a few updates.

Next Meeting
First of all, there will be no meeting tomorrow night, due to blues break. The next meeting will be a Pack meeting next Wednesday, 2/29.

Blue & Gold Banquet
Thanks to all who attended our Blue & Gold Banquet last week. I think you'll agree it was a great fun night with lots of really yummy food.

A night like that doesn't happen without a lot of work preparing beforehand and during the event. Many people were involved, but please join me in thanking in particular:

Lisa Kinnison and Chris Pohlman for all their planning and organizing.
Benji Amsden for getting so many local businesses to donate food and other things for the event and for his cooking and grilling, etc.
Benji and Dave Ince for waiting until they'd served us all before chowing down themselves.
John Peretz and Spencer Vaughan for being great MCs on the night.
You parents for the delicious potluck sides.
The boys from the Troop for their role in welcoming our Webelo 2s.
and finally, our cubs for their great skits.

These are the generous local businesses without which the night would not have been nearly as scrumptious. Please consider them next time you are eating out, need propane etc.

Ferrell Gas
Taco Cabo (Kent Hall)
New Panda Garden
Noodles & More
River Ranches Beef
Steamboat Smokehouse
Fiesta Jalisco

By the way, we have quite a bit of lost and found from the event. A white oval dish, metal pan, two round plastic tubs (one with a blue lid and one with a red lid), a black plastic spoon and a Trader Joes' bag. If any of these belong to you, please stop by Lisa's office at Alpine Insurance on Hilltop Parkway to pick them up.

Diamond Hitch Parade results
Guess what? The Diamond Hitch Parade results are in and we're winners again! Both the Pack and the Troop get podium places this year. See all the results below. GO SCOUTS!!

For those that signed up for the Denver Aquarium overnight, don't forget it's coming up soon on March 9/10.

If you haven't already please send your photos and videos to or upload them here.

Peace, love and mung beans,

John Kitchen
