Snow Tubing

It's here! This week sees us ditching those skis, snowboards, toboggans, sleds and other modes of getting down a slope with some semblance of control, in favor of rubberized inflatables!

Our Snow Tubing evening will kick off tomorrow night at Olympian Hall at Howelsen Hill at 5pm with a potluck. Please bring a dish according to den: Tigers & Bears: Main dish or casserole, Wolves: Side dish or salad, Webelos: Dessert.

When you arrive, please be sure to sign a waiver form first thing, so we can get that out of the way.
Snow Tubing will start on the Tubing Hill (between the lodge and the main parking lot) at 5:30pm and will be open to us until 7:30pm.

Olympian Hall will be ours until 8pm. Please stick around to help clean up.

No uniform is required. Please bring lots of layers though, and perhaps some hand warmers as the forecast is for single digits.

Snow Shoveling

In return for our Snow Tubing event being gratis for both parents and the pack, we will be fulfilling one of our Service Projects by shoveling snow from various areas around the Howelsen Hill base area.

We have organized two separate shoveling sessions, so please pick one that is most convenient. They will be Saturday Feb 1st at 12:30pm and Monday Feb 3rd at 4pm. Please bring your own shovel and some warm clothes.

Pack Meeting

We look forward to seeing you all at our Snow Tubing and Shoveling outings, and so will not be holding a pack or den meeting this Wednesday.
