Diamond Hitch Parade with the Scouts

Hi all,

Unless you've been living under a rock waiting to save 15% on car insurance, you'll know that the Steamboat Springs Winter Carnival is not far away.

If you'd like to remind yourself of the frivolity, here's some photos from last year's event and the Steamboat Today article from last year

Anyway, enough with the nostalgia.  You may not be able to sign your kids up for the skijoring just yet, but you can sign them up for the Diamond Hitch Parade with the Scouts!

The kids will be pulled along on their skis, as part of the parade, in a diamond-shaped pattern, behind a truck or tractor.

This is so much fun for the kids. I've been asking around, but just can't find a kid that doesn't want to be part of a parade, while being pulled along on their skis, down the main street of their hometown.

Last year the cubbies won first place !!

Registering is easy and free. Just visit our events page on the left there.

**** That reminds me, we need someone's truck (with good traction) or tractor to pull the kids, someone to drive the vehicle, as well as some parent helpers to assist with managing before and during the event. Please register using the appropriate ticket, or let me know if you can help or know someone that can.
