We have just added a new and exciting event to the calendar!

On November 7th, 6:30pm at the Middle School, Steamboat's very own astronomer and astrophotographer, Jimmy Westlake of Colorado Mountain College and SteamboatToday fame will be hosting an astronomy night, which is bound to be fascinating!

Please bring warm clothes to put on when we go outside, as it may be quite cold.

We will start inside where Jimmy will give us a presentation, before heading outside to view stars, constellations and more.

This night will count toward the cub scouts earning these three recognitions:

If you have one available, feel free to bring a telescope.

If you have a tablet, or smartphone, before coming, you may want to download one of the great astronomy apps that are available, such as:

Star Walk (for iOS)

Night Sky: (for iOS)
